Pets for Vets: Matching Veterans and Rescued Animals

Supporting our veterans is important to me. Many years ago I worked for a US Congressman as a constituent advocate, who advocated for the rights of veterans. Men and women would call in requesting help in getting their medals that they didn’t have time to get when they were shipping back home after the war. Some called to just be heard. They would tell me their struggles and heartaches. Their stories still stay with me today. It’s an honor to be a part of the Love Under Fire box set.
